My PMR Result

Hi everyone,

PMR result has already out. I came to school yesterday to get my results. I was really nervous. My legs and hands were shaking all the time before I got my results.

I met my friend, Rabi, I was really excited to see her as I did not meet her for a month. Aku nangis lah jumpa dia sebab rindu sangat hahah. We had a short talk about holidays. We also, waited for Fatin and Aina but they did not come early to school so we did not have a chance to meet them yesterday.

It was 11 something a.m, students and parents were gathered at the school assembly. The headmistress of my school gave us a short speech and she told us that 216 students got straight A’s for PMR. I cried. I was nervous. I really hoped that I got straight A’s.

Now, it was my turn to get my results. I sat in front of my teacher, Puan Norbaini to give my results. “Kenapa nangis? Belum dapat keputusan lagi dah nangis.” Teacher asked me with a sympathetic smile. Then, teacher asked me to sign, and I took the teacher’s pen. When I was signing the paper, my hand was shaking and my signature became so ugly. I could see my teacher flipped every slip to find where my slip. Teacher looked into my slip results and she said “Tahniah, tak apa ramai yang dapat macam tu” I was shocked when my teacher said so and I was thinking of my results must be really bad. So I took my slip, I could see one ‘B’ in my slip results. I got ‘B’ in Perdagangan. My heart was crushed and broken.

I showed my results to my mom. I hugged her. “Kakak tak dapat lapan A.” I blurted out, all choked with tears. I felt guilty to my mom and dad. It was all my fault! I’ve made my parents disappointed. “Tak apa lah kak, 7A1B tu dah bagus dah bagi mama.” Mom told me. Then, my mom called my dad to tell him what I got for my PMR. My dad was really thankful, he said that was a big present from me to him. I could not say anything, I felt really guilty for me it wasn’t a good present from me to my parents. Argh I could not describe my feelings. It was difficult to accept this. Mimi’s mom and Rabi’s mom gave me a hug. They told me that I still have a chance in SPM. I felt embarrassed as their daughter got straight A’s. Also, I was really jealous with the students on the stage. Really jealous. I could not stop crying yesterday, so many tears flowed from my eyes.

Terima kasih Abah, mama, kerana memberi sokongan kepada aku. Terima kasih guru-guru kerana telah mengajar aku. Terima kasih kawan-kawan kerana sanggup mengajar aku beberapa mata pelajaran yang aku kurang faham. Yang paling utama, terima kasih Allah kerana kau telah memberi aku keputusan yang baik. I got 7A1B for my PMR. 2012 has taught me to be thankful to God. Aku tak bersyukur. Sedangkan, ramai lagi di luar sana tak bernasib baik. Sepatutnya dari awal aku bersyukur. Tetapi disebabkan kedegilan aku, aku lupa yang Allah Maha Adil dan Allah Maha Mengetahui. Aku minta maaf dengan sesiapa yang marah dekat sebab dapat 7A1B pun masih tak bersyukur. Sebenarnya kalau korang nak tahu, perasaan aku sedih sangat bila dapat 7A sebab aku berada di SMK Jalan Empat. Semasa aku di sekolah aku dapat menyaksikan betapa ramainya kawan aku gembira sebab dapat keputusan 8A. Terlalu ramai dan aku yang dapat 7A rasa seperti kerdil di sekolah itu. Sebab itu lah aku sedih sangat bukannya tidak bersyukur. Aku minta maaf kepada sesiapa yang ingat aku tidak bersyukur. Aku minta maaf.

Part 2: Another wonderful holiday

Magnificent view

Have you read Part 1: Another Wonderful Holiday which is my previous post? I went to Tasik Chini, Pahang. For your information, Tasik Chini is the second largest lake in Malaysia dan juga tasik semula jadi.

We have to stay at Chini Lake Resort for one night sebab tempat kerja ayah aku berdekatan dengan Tasik Chini. Well my mom and I were totally not agreed to stay there because the resort was in the forest which is not safety. It's not safe because....

Bilik air di bilik kami masuk cicak 'Tokek'. Kalau cicak 'Tokek' yang besar tu pun boleh masuk bermakna ular pun boleh masuk! Takut kan?
Buka sahaja pintu pagi-pagi banyak sangat kera. Kalau kera-kera tu gigit macam mana? Hah?

Not only that, I heard tempat tu is quite 'keras'. Hahaha not to believe the rumors tapi aku sendiri rasa seram. Abah pun setuju untuk pindah ke hotel lain, kami berhijrah ke Kuantan esok hari nya. Dah lah resort tu tak ada WiFi. (macam mana nak ada WiFi kalau dah dalam hutan)

Tapi, kalau anda semua nak lihat keindahan Tasik Chini, anda dialu-alukan datang sebab Tasik Chini cantik. Haha biasa-biasa je lah takde lah lawa tapi ok lah. Nak tahu tak? Orang kata dulu-dulu Tasik Chini ni lagi lawa.

Part 1: Another wonderful holiday

So how’s your holidays? I had a very wonderful day with my families at my Pak Ngah’s house in Terengganu. There were so many activities we did in Terengganu. We went to the beach, we had our picnic by the beach and also barbecue party at night! So you wanna see the pictures? Tadaa…enjoy.

Trip to Universal Studios Singapore

02/12/12 Sunday

From Bandar Baru Bangi, my family and I headed straight to Johor Bahru. We left our house at 8 o’clock in the morning. I spent my time in the car by reading a novel and it was boring. So we finally reached New York Hotel at Johor Bahru. While waiting for my dad to check-in the hotel, my siblings and I took a picture at the lobby. Just one picture.

In the room, we quickly unpacked our stuff and we went to KSL City Mall to have our supper. We had our supper at Sushi King, a Japanese restaurant. Then we went back to the hotel and slept early as we had to get up early tomorrow.

03/12/12 Monday

I woke up at 6.05 a.m, took my shower and had my breakfast at the hotel.

A bus took us there to take us to Universal Studios Singapore. So here the story begins!

We arrived Universal Studios Singapore at about 11.00 a.m. The first thing that we did was, taking a picture in front of the Universal Studios globe (it a must) haha.

The place was completely jam-packed. Of course lah, because we went on a school holiday.

I was really impressed with the buildings and design because they are very beautiful! I didn’t feel like I was in Singapore once I stepped into the park.

We started our day in Sci-Fi City and our first ride was TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle. We had to wait for a long queue. A very long queue. When it came to our turn, we were very happy but still could not imagine how was the ride. I have to say that Transformers The Ride is the best! For those that are going to USS, make sure that your first ride is Transformers The Ride.

"Abah, betul ke abah nak naik roller coaster besar tu?" I asked my dad with a slow voice because I was too scared. "Dah sampai USS ni, naik je lah." My dad answered confidently. When my dad said so, I felt a bit confident to take the ride.

This suspended roller coaster goes up, around and upside down with an intense corkscrew and a cobra roll.

Ok, I still remember that I was in the seventh row. During this ride, I imagined I was on a beach that has a very strong and crazy wind. Haha my imagination was successful, I don’t even feel scared at that time.

I don't understand how do some people scream when they ride a high-speed roller coaster? I have to admit that I did not scream at all during the ride! Maybe I was too scared lol haha.

After that, we went onto Accelerator ride. It was not much fun there because it's slow but it is very suitable for kids like my coward younger brother, Raz Amin.

After that we went to Ancient Egypt. I rode Revenge of the Mummy. I was not expected this ride has a backward motion! Other than that, the passage was totally dark so I prefer to close my eyes until the ride ended.

Sadly, we could not ride Treasure Hunters since it was closed.

Then we continued our way to The Lost World! We really enjoyed the river raft ride at Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure. Before we rode the river raft, we bought raincoats priced 3 Singapore Dollar so that we would not get wet! After all, it was raining so the raincoat is a must for us.

We also rode the Canopy Flyer. I thought Canopy Flyer was a slow ride apparently I was wrong. The speed should be reduced haha.

We were very unlucky. I really wanted to watch the water show at WaterWorld but it was closed because of the bad weather. Not really a bad weather, it was just a drizzle.

So, because of the WaterWorld was closed, we headed straight to Far Far Away. 15 years of living and that was my first time saw a castle with my own eyes. I've fallen in love with the castle and one day, I want to see a real castle y'know what I mean? Haha.

We went to watch Shrek 4-D Adventure. We were very tired of walking suddenly we were given a long speech in a big empty room that has no seats. Ugh. After 15 minutes, we were allowed to enter a theater room. Finally we could sit!

For me, the show was mediocre. But at least I know how 4-D theater works ☺

Donkey LIVE and Magic Potion Spin were closed too. Huh great.

Our next stop is Madagascar: A Crate Adventure. We had a river boat ride with the four heroes of Madagascar, Alex, Marty, Melman and the sexy Gloria. Haha!

The next ride at Madagascar was the King Julien's Beach Party-Go-Round which is basically just an ordinary Merry-Go-Round. Here, you can find your favorite characters in Madagascar. This is not a high-speed ride so don't worry about getting dizzy. My younger brother, Raz Amin was having a really good time on this, of course lah he is a kid and I am having a good time too because the characters were so adorable!

We had played everything in USS and we still got 1 hour 30 minutes to walk around in Universal Studios Singapore because the bus took us at 07.30 p.m. We headed back to Hollywood because my mom wanted to buy something at Universal Studios Store.

So my mum bought a bag while my younger sister bought a t-shirt and I did not buy anything there *smile* hahah.

After that we took a picture with Frankestein. I wanted to take a picture with Marilyn Monroe and Kung Fu Panda but we couldn't as we have to wait so long in a very long queue. Frankestein pun jadi lah.
